The style is rooted in the 40-year brand development history of Quiksilver

Almost all surfers around the world know Quiksilver's name, which was founded by Australian surfers Alan Green and John Law. In the past 40 years, Quiksilver has not only made many world-class athletes fans, even ordinary enthusiasts can find the extreme sports from its furnishings.

1960s

Until the 1960s, surfing trends had always been a cultural phenomenon. Many people dressed in full-suit swimsuits and flip-flops appeared on the sands of Malibu surfboards, dedicated to studying the mission. Smart clothing marketers have even resorted to camouflage - celebrity models. There are plenty of examples of this kind of embarrassment in the surfing boom of the 1960s. Paul Hornung, a forward of the Jantzen brand and the Green Bay Packers rugby team, John Severson, publisher of the Surfers magazine, and Corky Carroll, a US surfing champion Debut on the same stage. MacGregon enabled surf legend Hobie Alter as its advertising ambassador. Catalina Martin sponsored the Malibu Surfing Association and Fenghai Club. Catalina even partially sponsored the Blum brothers' movie "Dream Plastic Machine", which recorded the V-bottom short board revolution in Australia.

A few years later, local brands entered the market: Hang Ten, Birdwell Beach Britches, Golden Breed, Kanvas of Katin, Reed of Newport, and Roys Beach Cabana. In essence, these products imitated the garments made by tailors of Hawaiian small clothing stores that are popular with travel surfers, such as Mia Nii of Waianae, Taki of Waikiki, H. Muira, and Reyn Spooner. These swim trunks are made of stiff, heavy canvas material, which completely restricts movement. In fact, surfing clothing is not designed for surfing.

On the face of it, these bag-style surf swimming trunks can be used in this sport. By the end of the 1960s, board lengths and board weights quickly declined. This new trend in surfing has further contributed to the collapse of those old-fashioned stiff bathrobes. People are no longer wearing their lifelike, straight-line style surf. Instead, they ride the waves on the surface of the waves and go for a ride. Accelerating turns, rushing into the waves, and speeding out of the waves, these refreshing new patterns require surf pants to complement each other.
