1.Cannage pattern
The Cannage pattern stems from the back of a neo-Louis 16th century chair that was exhibited at the 30 avenue Montaigne. Since 1991, the brand launched the Pr t- -Porter series including dresses and coats. The Cannage pattern has been in use ever since and continues to draw inspiration from different print patterns and textures. Since then, Dior has used the same inspiration for handbags, shoes, jewellery, watches, table tops and all kinds of fabrics.
2.Panther print leopard print
Christian Dior obtained exclusive rights to this leopard print from a silk company in Lyon. In 1947, the "African Woman" dress was sewn with soft silky leopard print chiffon. It was inspired by Christian Dior's friend Mitza Bricard. She often wore a leopard chiffon hand on her wrist to conceal a scar. In 1955, Zizi Jeanmaire and Marlene Dietrich respectively purchased Dior waterproof leopard taffeta raincoat, which has laid a leopard pattern of a pivotal fashion status.
