NIKE PG1 uses low-cut design to show personal style with low-cut design

The PG1 is designed with low-cut design and designed for the offensive and defensive Paul George. It is the result of George's collaboration with designer Tony Hardman. The sneakers are simple in shape and functional, and the unique straps of the forefoot are fixed with a Flywire fly-wire loop. The Zoom Air air cushion unit on the forefoot delivers a responsive cushioning effect while revealing a personal touch through a large number of iconic details.

The close connection between Hardman and George can be clearly seen from the details of the PG1 design. At first glance, you may not notice these 10 things:

1.CRUSADER complex

Nike Zoom Crusader is George's favorite basketball shoe before the PG1. Interestingly, Hardman is the designer of Crusader, and its seamless fit is also reflected in the design of the PG1.

2. The strap from the manuscript

The forefoot strap of PG1 was inspired directly by George himself. When he met a few times ago, he showed Hardman a sketch of the ideal sneaker he had drawn.

3.JANOSKI inspiration

George's favorite casual shoes are Nike SB Janoski, some of which bring inspiration to the material and structure of the PG1, adding a touch of color to the shoes.

4. Fish scales grab

The grip texture of the sneakers is very similar to the fish scales, reflecting George's love of fishing – a pastime that he and his father, Paul George, like very much.

5. Personal growth

The three small designs on the sneakers reflect George's personal details. The sneakers have "5-1-15" printed on the inside of the left foot, in order to commemorate his daughter Olivia's one-year birthday on George's first pair of signature shoes. And his own birthday "5-2-90" appeared on the inside of the right foot of the shoe. The heel of the right foot is printed with stripes - symbolizing George's severe right leg fracture, buried in the treatment of titanium alloy rods.

6. The family is heavy

The bond of the family also appears in the color matching of the shoes. The obsidian PG1 adds purple to the heel ring and lace hole, which is designed to pay tribute to his mother, Bolet, and is a perfect blend of George's team's obsidian blue and yellow.

7. The simpleness of the world

The PG personal logo on the tongue abbreviates the acronym of George's name into a bow tie shape, which means that he has a unique personality that combines innocence and sophistication. Need more evidence? George drives Ferrari, but always has a fishing rod in the back seat, just to find a place to fish at any time.

8. The final touch

Extra care for the material. From plush suede to scaly leather, Hardman and George are committed to making each color scheme unique (and of excellent quality).

9.PG-13

George's nickname PG-13 is the 13-inspired source of inspiration on the heel.

10. Walk the clouds

The PG1 shoe box is embellished with clouds. Why is it so designed? Because George’s first request to Hardman was to design a pair of shoes that would look like “walking the clouds”.

Specific performance advantages of PG1 include:

1. Forefoot straps use Flywire fly-wire technology ring system to provide adaptive support

2. Forefoot uses Zoom Air unit air cushion with plush insole for responsive cushioning

3. Integrated upper construction for comfort and perfect fit

4. Drawing inspiration from the structure of the fish scale, using a multi-directional blade sole to provide a sharp grip performance like a blade
